Products - Double Skin Steel Partitions

Panels are constructed from 25.4 x 42 x 25.4 x 1.2mm cold rolled channels panelled both sides with 0 8mm (21g) CR4 mild steel sheet with 30mm Rockwool mineral fibre infill and are joined together using an ‘H’ section, making the installation very similar to the installation of composite part systems. Panels are available in solid, half-glazed, solid/glazed/solid or borrowed light elevation.

A range of infill and special size panels can be supplied to maintain final dimensions.

All two-way intermediate mullions have base plates for floor fixing. Knee braces and/or ladder mullions may be fitted for extra stability and strength. e.g. on clear access doors.

Doors can be supplied with or without vision panels.
A full range of non standard door types, i.e. full height leaves, clear access modules or hospital type leaves are available to order.

GLAZING

Glass is mounted on foam strip and held in place by steel glazing beads, 6mm toughened, 6.4mm laminated and 6mm Pyroshield are supplied as standard. However other types of glass and Perspex may also be fitted as required. Double glazed panels may be supplied using 6mm toughened to outer face and 4mm toughened to the inside face, fitted into a plastic two-piece double glazing section.

PAINT FINISH

All panels are electrostatically powder coated in the following standard colours:-
Grey 10 A 07, Grey 00 A 05, Sandstone 08 B17 and Stone 10 B 17. Special colours (over 100 in stock) are available at extra cost.

ACCESSORIES

A comprehensive range of accessories including drop-down and sliding hatches, louvers, vents and locking systems are available to order.
